Vascular Surgery Opportunity – Norwalk and Danbury, Connecticut
Nuvance–Northwell Health | Fairfield County (60 miles from New York City)
Nuvance–Northwell Health, the Northern Region of Northwell Health spanning Connecticut and New York, is seeking a board-certified vascular surgeon to join our established and growing vascular surgery program in Norwalk and Danbury, CT. Coverage is structured and collaborative, allowing surgeons to build a strong practice while supporting system-wide growth without excessive commuting.
The Practice
Our vascular program offers:
- State-of-the-art hybrid operating rooms
- Dedicated block time and excellent OR support staff
- A high-volume vascular laboratory
- The only IAC-accredited vein center in Connecticut
- An office-based lab
- Established and growing referral base with strong regional demand
- Opportunities for full spectrum of open and endovascular practice
- Support for clinical, translational, and basic science research
Academic & Teaching Opportunities
Danbury Hospital also hosts a freestanding 6-year general surgery residency, including a dedicated research year. Teaching medical students and residents is an integral part of the program, with academic affiliations that include:
- Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell
- Yale School of Medicine
- University of Vermont College of Medicine
Protected time and institutional support are available for candidates interested in academic productivity and mentorship.
The Ideal Candidate will be:
